Release 1.103 – Refinements & Smart Improvements
Release 1.103 focuses on meaningful refinements that improve everyday workflows and prepare the platform for what’s next.
We’ve significantly optimized the Gallery search experience, delivering faster results and more precise filtering to help you find the right content with less friction. In addition, data lists have been streamlined for improved performance, clarity, and overall usability — especially when working with larger datasets.
Behind the scenes, this release also lays the technical foundation for an upcoming feature: Watermarks. While not yet visible in the interface, the groundwork implemented in this version ensures a smooth and scalable rollout in a future update.
Data Lists
This update directly addresses user feedback regarding sorting behavior within data lists. Previously, changing the sort order would automatically reset the view to page 1 — an interruption that many users found frustrating, especially when working on later pages.
With version 1.103, pagination state is now preserved when adjusting the sorting. If you’re on page 2 (or any other page), you’ll remain there even after modifying the sort order. This ensures a smoother workflow and eliminates unnecessary navigation steps when managing larger datasets.
Folder Search – Dialog Improvements
Previously, the folder search (for example, within the Gallery creation dialog) did not support searching within the current folder context. This limitation made navigation more cumbersome, especially when working in deeply nested structures.
With this update, search functionality has been extended to include the current folder. You can now search directly within the active folder context, making it faster and more intuitive to locate the desired subfolders without disrupting your workflow.
Video Width & Height Calculations
As part of this release, we’ve also implemented a small but important improvement behind the scenes. Previously, video uploads did not capture or store width and height metadata.
This has now been updated. From version 1.103 onward, video dimensions are automatically detected and saved during upload. This enhancement ensures better compatibility and flexibility, particularly in scenarios where accurate video dimensions are required for integration or layout calculations.
Invisible Watermarks
In this release, we have laid the technical foundation for upcoming support of invisible watermarks at the proxy level. While the feature is not yet publicly enabled, the underlying infrastructure has already been rolled out to ensure a smooth activation.
Invisible watermarks allow ownership information to be embedded directly into images with minimal overhead. By encoding tenant-specific metadata within the image itself, it becomes possible to verify that a file was delivered in the context of a specific tenant — without altering its visible appearance.
The feature will be activated in the coming weeks and will be especially valuable for photographers and professional content creators who require reliable proof of origin without compromising image quality.
