For the relaunch of News.at, one of Austria's leading online news platforms, our choice fell on Statamic as the content management system (CMS). This decision brought numerous advantages that significantly contributed to optimizing and modernizing the site.
On the frontend, as with the other VGN portals, we continue to build on the by now heavily expanded and extended NextJS template, which can now be closely tailored to the editorial team's needs through more than 60 content elements.

An outstanding feature of the new digital offering is the horoscope microservice. This microservice was specifically developed to deliver our horoscope content efficiently and at scale.
Comprehensive Search
Another significant advance is the implementation of a typo-tolerant search based on Meilisearch. Meilisearch allows us to offer a fast and precise search function that automatically corrects typos and slight variations in search queries.
