GREENGAGE App: citizen observatories for a greener Europe

The GREENGAGE App was created as part of a research project funded by the European Union. It enables citizens and civic initiatives to set up and actively shape so-called Citizen Observatories. The goal is to involve the public more closely in collecting and using environmental and mobility data, and thereby to support sustainable decision-making.

In close collaboration with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), we built a scalable platform that supports a range of use cases around smart cities and citizen participation. Even after the official end of the project, the application continues to be developed and extended with new features together with the AIT.
