4 Smart workflow types to jumpstart

Our first set of workflows is designed to bring order to your copyright data. Especially after migration processes, it's common for copyright entries to be merged or combined—sometimes unintentionally. While technically possible, this often strips the system of key functionality.

To help tackle this issue, we’re rolling out four powerful workflows that make it easier to clean up and restructure your data—even at scale.

In total we provide 4 types:

• Split copyrights and replace them by entry

• Split copyrights and replace them by searchterm.

• Replace copyrights with entries

• Replace copyrights with entries by searchterm.

Split copyrights and replace them by entry

Using AI, copyright entries are intelligently split into meaningful units. Each unit is then created as a separate entry in the system and automatically linked to the previously associated files. Once that's done, you also have the option to automatically remove the original, now-obsolete copyright entry.

In some cases, the number of copyright entries can be quite large—too many to select manually. That’s why we also offer the option to use a search term instead. The interface provides a preview of the matches and shows the total number of entries affected. Aside from that, the workflow works just like the one mentioned earlier.

And if you don't want to create new copyright entries automatically—because you already know exactly what needs to be replaced—we've got you covered. We’re also introducing two additional workflows that let you search and replace directly. At their core, they do the same thing: find what you need and replace it with exactly what you want.

Which tier is supported?

Currently, this feature is available exclusively in the Business tier—without any usage limits. And this is just the beginning: several more workflows are already in the pipeline and will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
