On Tuesday, the curtain rose once again for Austria's most important TV program. It received a long overdue update in terms of user experience (UX) and performance. Or should we rather call it an "upgrade"?
New to the mix is a visually appealing variant of the date picker. Beyond that, every pixel and div was reworked. "Leaner, faster, and better" was the motto. The site now loads even faster than before and offers even more information thanks to the decluttered design.
A particular challenge was keeping the different scroll areas in sync. Here, our Frontend Lead ultimately managed to develop a solution that also works flawlessly on "slow" phones.

All in all, it was a significant update that could be successfully realized thanks to the excellent collaboration with "be water, my friend" and Gerhild Pirker.
