Nori: Invoices, Proposals and Banking in One Place

20. July 2026 News

Introducing Nori: proposals, invoices, time tracking and banking in one place – connected to the tools you already use. Currently in closed beta.

The proposal in one document, the hours in a time tracker, the invoice in yet another tool, the payment somewhere in your online banking – and the receipts in a folder nobody likes to open. The paperwork of a small business spreads across a surprising number of tools, and in between sits you, copying numbers back and forth.

We know the feeling. And because no tool on the market convinced us – too rigid, too clunky, or simply not thought through – we built our own. Today we are introducing it: Nori.

Documents from the tools you already use

The core of Nori: you write your content where you already write it. Nori pulls in Notion pages, Google Docs, Markdown, PDFs and timesheets and turns them into a single, cleanly branded document – with cover page, headers, footers and page numbers. You style the templates with your own CSS until the PDF looks like it came straight out of your design system.

From proposal to paid invoice

Proposals can include variants and optional line items, your clients pick online and accept right there. One click turns the accepted proposal into an invoice – as an e-invoice in ebInterface, XRechnung or ZUGFeRD, filed directly with e-Rechnung.gv.at or via Leitweg-ID if you want, no portal uploads.

Every invoice carries a SEPA QR code for scan-to-pay. And when a payment does not arrive, Nori follows up on its own – with automatic dunning levels, so you do not have to.

Hours, banking and receipts

Nori imports hours from Toggl or Rize, bundles them into pools and locks billed periods, so every hour is invoiced exactly once. Retainers and maintenance contracts run as recurring invoices, including hour quotas you can watch in real time.

Then there is banking: connect your accounts, match incoming payments to open invoices automatically, capture receipts via email or drag and drop – text recognition reads amount and tax and attaches the receipt to the right transaction. For your accountant there is DATEV and CSV export.

Currently in closed beta

Nori is in closed beta right now. We use it ourselves every day and are gradually inviting the first teams who know the same paperwork frustration. If you want in, reach out at noridocs.com – we would love your feedback.
