UX improvements for mission creation and more
New week, new improvements, this time with a focus on the user experience when creating missions.
This week, we once again integrated feedback from the consortium, focusing on improving the user experience to make the GREEGAGE app easier, faster, and more intuitive to use.
Automatic Coordinate Inheritance
The Greengage app ecosystem is designed to allow POIs (Points of Interest) and tasks to have different starting coordinates. This concept supports the idea that multiple tasks can be linked to a single POI, enabling logical clustering.
However, in practice, the starting points often overlapped — leading to user feedback requesting a more streamlined process. With the latest release, we’ve addressed this by automatically inheriting the coordinates of the associated POI during task creation. This enhancement simplifies the process and reduces manual input, aligning better with common usage patterns.
Reset Surveys
Sometimes you just want to test things out — like creating a survey. To avoid the hassle of manually setting one up and later filtering out test data, we’ve introduced a convenient survey reset feature.
Surveys can now be easily reset directly via the action menu, allowing you to start fresh without extra steps.
Restored Webhook Functionality
Lastly, we’ve brought back a previously available feature. During the transition to version 2, the migration of webhooks — particularly those from Mindearth/Mindview — had not yet been fully completed.
With the latest update, this migration is now finalized. As a result, Mindview missions can once again be seamlessly integrated into the GREENGAGE app.
