Goodnight Relaunch: A New Chapter Begins with Fairu on Board

If you haven’t heard of Goodnight.at yet: it’s Vienna’s go-to guide for students, young adults, and anyone with a passion for culture and nightlife. Whether you're hunting for hidden bars, the next can't-miss event, or simply looking to experience the city beyond the tourist paths — Goodnight.at helps you explore Vienna like a local, discover new spots, and make the most of your time in Austria’s vibrant capital.

Goodnight.at is a project by Marble House GmbH, with whom we’ve had the pleasure of working before — most notably on the Welthandelsplatz platform. We’re proud to see this collaboration grow into something even deeper, with the relaunch of Goodnight.at marking a new milestone.

The close integration of Fairu has not only enhanced the editorial workflow but also strengthened the overall technical partnership. We're excited to continue shaping the future of content platforms together.

This showcase was developed by us at Sushi.dev, using Statamic — naturally, as a certified Statamic agency. But this is far more than just a fresh coat of paint: it's a complete reboot of Goodnight.at from the ground up.

We’ll be diving into the technical details in a dedicated blog post over on sushi.dev soon. But for now, here’s a quick look behind the scenes: Fairu has been deeply integrated into multiple areas of the new platform — from the Events, Locations, and Magazine sections, all the way to a custom-built SEO addon for Statamic with native Fairu support.

In fact, while working on Goodnight.at, we extended the official Statamic addon for Fairu with several new features — inspired by real-world use cases that simplify content creation and make Fairu even more powerful for editors and developers alike.

The new platform is built around three core pillars:

• Magazine

• Locations (bars, restaurants, and more)

• Events

Across all of these sections, Fairu plays a central role — not just as a CMS extension, but as an editorial power tool. By integrating Fairu 100%, the content team can now work faster, more efficiently, and with far less manual effort.

For example, editors use Fairu’s built-in image description tools to automatically generate alt text, which improves accessibility and SEO at the same time. And thanks to dynamic cropping, assets for social media no longer need to be edited manually — Fairu takes care of it, adapting visuals to every platform's requirements in just a few clicks.

All in all, goodnight.at serves as a compelling demonstration of fairu's ability to integrate seamlessly into established workflows. The result has been improved user comfort and better-defined role separation, delivering tangible positive outcomes.
