For Fisherman's Friend, we built a global platform that lets the brand manage all of its QR codes centrally and roll them out worldwide. Codes on packaging and campaigns are routed to their destination reliably through a high-performance infrastructure — fast, measurable and individually controllable for every country.

At the core sits a central management system in which the brand creates, groups and maintains all of its QR codes globally. The actual redirects run through a dedicated, performance-focused redirect layer: a lean service written in Go resolves every scan in milliseconds and keeps response times low even under heavy load spikes — such as a campaign launch. Operation and scaling are handled by a Kubernetes environment that grows automatically with the traffic.
Every scan is matched to the right target country via country detection, so users automatically land on the correct country or language page. Control stays entirely with the brand: extensive configuration options let them adjust redirect targets, country-specific rules and campaigns at any time themselves — without having to recreate a single printed code.
An integrated analytics dashboard makes every interaction visible: scans by country, over time and by campaign come together in real time, giving the team a solid basis for decisions. The result is a scalable, data-driven platform that seamlessly connects physical packaging with digital brand management.
